The Dr. Lynn A Melton Fund Mini-Grant offers amounts up to $100 to supply your K-12 classroom with needed equipment!

The Melton Fund Mini-Grants allow teachers with a close association with UT Dallas and/or its Science/Mathematics Education Program to enhance their delivery of STEM material in the classroom in many ways, including innovative approaches, more effective instruction, and access to non-textbook instruction.

Melton Fund Mini-Grants are open to all K-12 teachers from UTD UTeach Dallas or SME-MAT Program, or mentors for these programs, or former TRC members! 

1) Submit your grant request and proposed use of the equipment through this link: Dr. Lynn A Melton Fund Application

2) After approval*, the materials will be purchased through the Department of Science and Math Education at The University of Texas at Dallas, where you will pick them up. Preference will be given to teachers who have an affiliation with the department.

3) At the end of the school year, tell us how great it was!
